Men's Golf to Host Princeton Invitational Saturday, Sunday

The Princeton men's golf team will host the Princeton Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the team's home course, Springdale Golf Club.
This year's is the 25th annual edition of Princeton's home tournament, which began in 1987. It has been played every year except 2003, when the scheduled event was rained out. Princeton has won three titles in its home invitational, including the first one in 1987 and again in 2000 and 2004.
Eleven teams will join Princeton at the event, including six of the other seven Ivy programs. Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Rider, Rutgers, Saint Joseph's, Temple and Yale make up the dozen teams in the field. The par-71 course measures 6,390 yards.
Yale beat Harvard in a playoff to win the 2010 event at 14-under, while Yale's Tom McCarthy, now a senior, was the only individual under par and won the event at -3.
The tournament is Princeton's second-to-last before the Ivy League Championship is contested April 22-24 in Galloway, N.J. Princeton will head to the Century Intercollegiate in Purchase, N.Y. April 16 and 17.
Tee times will begin at 8 a.m. each day with 36 holes to be played Saturday and 18 Sunday. Full tee times are below.
