Dan DeGeorge enters his third season as a member of the Cleveland Indians' organization after signing with the club as a free agent following his senior season at Princeton. A middle infielder, DeGeorge has seen time with four different teams in his two years and will start the 2011 season with Double-A Akron of the Eastern League. DeGeorge spent the bulk of the 2010 season at Short Season A Mahoning Valley and was New York-Penn League Mid-Season All-Star.
David Hale was drafted in the third round of the 2009 MLB Draft by Atlanta and has been rated as the No. 17 prospect in their system. He started the 2010 season as a starter at Class A Rome and transitioned into a reliever and closer as the season went on. He finished the season with five wins and seven saves. He will begin the 2011 season in the bullpen at Class A Advanced Lynchburg of the Carolina League.
Princeton teammates Dan Barnes and Jack Murphy will again team up as teammates with the Lansing Lugnuts of the Class A Midwest League. Murphy was a 2009 draftee of the Toronto Blue Jays and the team selected Barnes in 2010. Murphy spent the majority of the 2010 season in Auburn of the New York-Penn League and hit .224 in 35 games behind the plate.
