June 2 TigerCast: Baseball Pitcher Zak Hermans
June 02, 2011 | Baseball, General
Before he pitches Princeton's first game in the 2011 NCAA Championships Friday evening at Texas, sophomore baseball standout Zak Hermans joins the latest edition of TigerCast to discuss the memorable Ivy League championship season and the upcoming NCAA Championships.
Hermans led Princeton with a 2.85 ERA and won five games on the season, and he had more than three times as many strikeouts as walks on the season. He talks about Princeton's dramatic run through the Ivy League, including its victory over Dartmouth in the championship series, and what it means to him to compete against the University of Texas as a native of the Longhorn State.
