Gameday Central Returns As One Of Several Ways To Follow 2011 Football
September 16, 2011 | Football
The Princeton football season opens Saturday evening, and while the best seat in the house remains at Princeton Stadium, fans everywhere will have multiple ways of following the Tigers this season.
Gameday Central returns for another year to provide the most complete coverage of each week's upcoming game. It provides one location for stats, schedules, notes and information for both Princeton and the upcoming opponents, as opposed to links for audio/video links, weather forecasts, Ivy League standings and NCAA statistics.
Audio for all 10 games will be streamed live online for free. Ed Benkin (play-by-play) and Dan Loney (color) return to provide all the commentary on 103.3 WPRB FM. Archives of each broadcast will be posted online the week after each game.
Video coverage on GoPrincetonTigers.TV will be available for each of the first four home games. The live broadcast from Verizon FIOS 1 will be streamed live online. It is a subscription package, which is available here. The Nov. 12 home game against Yale is being televised by The YES Network, which owns exclusive rights to the broadcast; thus, GoPrincetonTigers.TV will be unable to show.
You can also follow Princeton football via social media. On Facebook, you can follow Princeton here, or you can follow on Twitter here. The specific football account can be found here.
To purchase tickets to any remaining home football game, including Saturday's game against No. 16 Lehigh, you can call 609-258-4TIX or go here.
