No. 18 Women's Water Polo Remains Undefeated with 12-6 Win over Bucknell

An early lead and solid defensive line helped the No. 18
Princeton women's water polo team remain undefeated and open conference action
with a 12-6 win over Bucknell at DeNunzio Pool. The win improved the Tigers to
a perfect 9-0, 1-0 Southern Division on the year. The victory also marked 14th season head coach Luis Nicolao's 300th career win.
Princeton jumped out early with a 1-0 lead and never looked
back. Up 4-2, the Tigers scored a game-high five goals in the third quarter and
finished the game with an 8-4 run.
Veterans Molly McBee, Katie Rigler, Saranna Soroka and Audrey Zak each tallied a pair of goals apiece to lead the Princeton offense versus the Bison, while Taylor Dunstan, Jessie Holechek, Kelly Gross and Brittany Zwirner each added a goal of their own.
Defensively, Princeton posted 15 steals, with Camille Hooks grabbing a game-high four. In the cage, Kristen Ward tallied nine saves and an assist in four full quarters of work.
The Tigers next host the CWPA/MAAC Crossover from Feb. 25-26, facing Iona, Siena, Villanova and Wagner.
