Senior tri-captain Jon Christensen has been the Tigers' most decorated swimmer during Princeton's run to the last three Ivy League Championships. Prior to his Senior Day meet with Columbia, he spoke with GoPrincetonTigers.TV.
In Princeton's thrilling 5.5-point win over Harvard in the 2011 championship meet, Christensen won individual Ivy League titles in both the 200 IM (1:45.91) and the 200 breast (1:56.33). His time in the 200 breast was both a Princeton and Ivy League record. He also won the 2010 200 IM and the 200 breast during his freshman season.
Christensen will try to lead Princeton to its fourth straight Ivy League title in three weeks when the 2012 championships come to Denunzio Pool (Mar. 1-3).
