Levene Wins 10k & Nicholas Takes Third in the Steeplechase at the UCF Invite

Junior Abby Levene won the 10,000-meter run as the Princeton women's track & field team opened the 2012 outdoor season at the University of Central Florida Invitational on Friday, March 23.

Levene ran 36:01.16 to win the race.

Freshman Jackie Nicholas placed third in her first collegiate attempt in the steeplechase. She clocked in at 11:17.11. A steepler in high school, Nicholas ran a PR of 6:52.56 in the 2k steeple.

The majority of the meet will take place tomorrow afternoon.
