Bowman Earns Ivy Pitcher of the Week Honors

Following a career highlighting performance at Brown last weekend, Princeton's Matt Bowman was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week for the first time in his career. He is the second Tiger to take home the weekly honor this season.
The Princeton righty threw a career-high 12 strikeouts against the Bears in his 8-0 victory on April 8. Bowman (3-2), who has won consecutive games, scattered six hits in 30 batters faced in his first complete game shutout of the year.
On the season, Bowman has started six games on the mound, throwing two complete games. Over 36.2 innings, he's thrown 39 strikeouts and has a 4.42 ERA.
Bowman and the Tigers (12-12, 6-2 Ivy League) host Seton Hall today, Tuesday, April 10 at 3:30 p.m.
