Sept. 27 TigerCast: Jen Hoy and Caraun Reid
September 27, 2012 | Football, General, Women's Soccer
With key Ivy League contests upcoming for both, Jen Hoy (women's soccer) and Caraun Reid (football) join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Hoy, the reigning Ivy League Player of the Week, leads the Ivy League with 11 goals this season; the next closest player has five. She has helped Princeton to a 5-3-1 record to start the season, which included a 2-1 win at Yale last weekend. The Tigers host Dartmouth Saturday at 2; each of the three games with the Big Green during Hoy's career have been decided by one goal.
Reid was a preseason All-America and a first-team All-Ivy selection in 2011. One of the top defensive linemen in FCS football, he led Princeton in both sacks and tackles for loss last season. The Tigers lost last weekend by one point, but they have a chance to start the Ivy season off with a win when they take on Columbia Saturday at 12:30 pm.
