Hoffenberg and Jeremic Garner Weekly Southern Honors

Princeton men's water polo junior Drew Hoffenberg was named Southern Division Player of the Week and freshman Jovan Jeremic collected Rookie of the Week accolades, it was announced Wednesday.
Hoffenberg is coming off a 17-goal weekend, including a pair of five-goal performances in Southern California. The Princeton co-captain added five steals, four assists, three blocks and drew 13 ejections over seven games.
Hoffenberg, the first Tiger to pick up Player of the Week honors in 2013, has a team-leading 34 goals and 15 steals, along with 19 steals and four blocks.
Jeremic earned his first collegiate honor after tallying 13 goals, three steals and an assist over his seven-game outing. The rookie from the Los Angeles region had a solid homecoming, scoring a team-best three goals versus then-No. 2 USC.
Only 13 games into his collegiate career, Jeremic has a second-best 24 goals, and 10 steals and two assists on the year.
Previous Princeton honorees were Alex Gow (Sept. 18) and Ben Dearborn (Sept. 25), both earning Defensive Player of the Week.
The Tigers (10-3, 3-0 Southern) resume divisional play at home on Sunday, Oct. 6 versus Bucknell at 3 p.m.
