Hale ?11 Named to Atlanta Braves' Postseason Roster
October 03, 2013 | Baseball
The Princeton baseball team will be represented in the 2013 MLB postseason, as David Hale '11 was named to the Atlanta Braves' 25-player roster.
Hale, who is a rookie with the organization that drafted him in 2009 in the third round, has made two starts with the NL East champions. His debut was nothing less than impressive – he set a new franchise record with nine strikeouts in a Big League debut and allowed only four hits against, but would end with a no decision. In his second start, Hale got the win in an Atlanta win over the Phillies. He allowed a run on seven hits while striking out five over six innings.
The Braves open their playoff run tonight, Thursday, Oct. 3 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers at 8:30 p.m.
