No. 9 Seed Tigers to Face No. 8 Florida State in NCAA First Round

For the second consecutive season the Princeton women's basketball team earned the No. 9 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Tigers are in the Oklahoma City regional and are headed to Waco, Texas to face No. 8 seeded Florida State (22-9, 11-7 ACC) on Sunday, Mar. 24 at 5:10 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Princeton (22-6, 13-1) enters the tournament after capturing its fourth consecutive Ivy League title. The Tigers are the first-ever Ivy women's team to advance to the NCAA tournament four straight years.
The Tigers last three trips to the Big Dance have resulted in first round losses. In their tournament debut they fell to No. 9 seed St. John's in Tallahassee, Fla. in 2010, followed by losses to No. 5 seed Georgetown in College Park, Md. in 2011, and to No. 8 seed Kansas State in Bridgeport, Conn. in 2012.
Also in the Tigers' bracket is host-No. 1 seed Baylor who faces No. 16 seed Prairie View A&M. The winners advance to the second round game set for Tuesday, Mar. 26.
