Spring Football Season Opens Friday; Spring Game Scheduled For April 27

A few months removed from a four-win improvement in its 2012 season, the Princeton football team will open the spring practice season Friday afternoon on the Finney and Campbell Practice Fields.
The 12-practice season will go through the annual Spring Game, held in the late morning on Powers Field at Princeton Stadium on April 27.
Princeton went 5-5 last season, a significant improvement over its 1-9 mark the previous season, and stayed in the Ivy League championship race until the final day. The Tigers also earned their first bonfire since 2006 with victories over both Harvard (39-34) and Yale (29-7).
