D'Amato, Jarmas and Men's Golf Team Earn GCAA Academic Recognition

Bernie D'Amato and Greg Jarmas earned Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar honors, while the Princeton men's golf team claimed team honors, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.
The Tiger pair are among 152 Division I honorees and six from the Ivy League. D'Amato, a 2013 graduate from the politics department, and Jarmas, a rising senior and fellow politics major, helped lead Princeton back to the Ivy League title for the first time since 2006, and Jarmas became the first Princeton player to win the Ivy League Championship men's individiual title since 2005.
D'Amato, who played in all nine events in 2012-13, was the Yale Spring Opener medalist, and Jarmas, while winning the Ivy individual title, earned first-team All-Ivy League honors, was an Academic All-Ivy League honoree and was named a Division I PING all-region player.
