The 2013-14 Princeton men's tennis schedule
Head coach Billy Pate on the schedule:
"After ending a successful season last April, our guys have been motivated to get back on the court and continue the positive momentum we established in 2012-13. This year's schedule reflects a challenging group of national competition and opponents that will require us to elevate our level. However, after losing four key seniors, we will be very young compared to last year's squad and not quite as deep. Nonetheless, we are very excited about the three outstanding freshmen joining our roster and fully expect them to be major contributors.
"The Ivy League continues to become increasingly respected nationally in men's tennis from top to bottom. Besides the seven conference matches, we have a series of tough tournaments that will really define our season. The ECAC, with possibly 7 or 8 of the Ivy teams, along with the highly regarded Blue-Gray National Classic and the San Diego Invitational, will provide a combined nine matches against nationally ranked teams. It will be interesting to see how our young guys, along with our established veterans, embrace the increased difficulty of our schedule."
