Opening Tournament Complete for Men's Golf

The Princeton men's golf team finished eighth in the 14-team Doc Gimmler Invitational on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park on Long Island.
Rookie Alex Dombrowski was the top Tiger, tying for 25th overall at 4-under. Princeton was 13-under as a team, but the title went to Yale at -44 by 14 shots in front of Harvard. The Bulldogs' Joe Willis also won the team title, riding a first-round 63 and two subsequent 68s to finish at 17-under, one shot clear of Columbia's Brandon Jowers.
The Tigers will return to action Friday, Oct. 4 at the Brickyard Collegiate in Georgia. Princeton's results from the Doc Gimmler tournament are below, and results for all teams are available at the PDF link on this page.
