Men's Golf Finishes Play at Cal Tournament to Close Fall Season

The fall season came to a close Tuesday for the Princeton men's golf team in California with the Tigers finishing in 14th place in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational hosted by Cal.
Princeton entered the day in 16th place but jumped past Hawai'i and San Jose State in the final round, turning in the same 299 score as in the team's second round Monday.
Eric Mitchell led Princeton, tying for 15th overall after turning in a 1-over 72 to finish at even par on the tournament, including a birdie on the par-3 11th hole. Arizona State's Max Rottluff followed up a second-round 66 with a 70 Tuesday to take the individual title at -9, two shots in front of Oregon State's Tyler Collier.
Cal won the team title at -13 in its home event, getting past Arizona State by two shots.
