Fairleigh Dickinson scored 25 of the game's 29 points during a run of eight-plus minutes in the second half, allowing the Knights to rally for a 89-85 win Wednesday night on their home floor. The Tigers led by as many as 11 points at 43-32 with 15:42 to play and was up 10 before the Knights got hot. FDU shot 70 percent from the field in the second half, going 14 of 20 overall while making six of six tries from distance. That outshined Princeton's 53.3 percent clip from the field after the break as the Tigers looked to hold onto their lead. |

With FDU leading 87-82, Khyan Rayner was ready to shoot a 3-pointer, and just as FDU's Earl Potts Jr. knocked into him, Rayner lofted the 3 and banked it off the glass and in to make it 87-85 with three seconds left. But the play of the game came next, as FDU's Mustafaa Jones came down with the rebound after Rayner intentionally missed the free throw from the Potts foul. The rebounded had bounced off hands from both teams, but once Jones secured it, there was just one second left on the clock and Jones hit both free throws to put the game away. |
