Columbia was the first Princeton opponent in more than a year to overcome a Princeton halftime lead, outscoring the Tigers by nine in the second half and holding on for a 53-52 win at Jadwin Gym Friday night. Princeton led by as many as 13 points in the first half and by eight at halftime. The Tigers were up 10 two minutes into the second half when Columbia went on a 10-0 run to tie it at 37-37 just more than five minutes into the second half. From there, it was never more than a three-point game until Princeton pulled ahead 52-47 on a T.J. Bray bucket with 2:04 to go. Columbia scored the game's last six points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer by Isaac Cohen that ended up being the game winner. |

| 57.1, 33.3: Princeton's shooting percentage dipped more than 20 points from the first half to the second, while Columbia's went in the opposite direction, going from .333 to .500. It was just the seventh time this season in 18 games that Princeton scored fewer points in the second half (19) than the first (33), and the largest difference in points scored between the two halves this season. |
|
| Columbia's Isaac Cohen's 3-pointer with less than 30 seconds to go turned out to be the final points of the game and one of just two instances on the night in which Columbia led. The Lions were ahead 42-40 before the midway point of the half. |
