Wolff Selected to NCAA Singles Championship

Princeton freshman Alanna Wolff has been selected to the NCAA singles championship, the NCAA announced Wednesday evening.
The event will take place beginning May 21 at the University of Georgia after the team tournament finishes May 20. The complete field can be found here, and pairings will be announced shortly before the event.
Wolff, who was also selected second-team All-Ivy League in singles Wednesday, will become the first Tiger since 2002 to compete in the NCAA women's singles championship. Kavitha Krishnamurthy '03 was the last to do so, the most recent of 11 NCAA singles tournaments that have included a Princeton player since 1983.
Wolff has an ITA singles ranking of 107th in the nation, with a new ranking set to be released Thursday. She has a singles record of 22-5 overall on the spring season and 6-1 in Ivy League play, moving up from the No. 4 spot in the Ivy-opening match against Penn to the No. 2 position for the final weekend against Cornell and Columbia while winning her last five Ivy matches.
Wolff and her teammates are set to compete in the NCAA team tournament, which will send the Tigers to Alabama to face Arizona State on May 9.
