Jarmas '14 Makes Pro Golf Debut
July 12, 2014 | Men's Golf
Little more than a month after earning his Princeton degree, Greg Jarmas '14 made a successful debut into the professional golf world.
In a field of 116 players, Jarmas made the cut at the Southern Open on the eGolf Professional Tour, firing a 70 and 66 over the first two rounds July 9-10 to secure a place in the top 50 at the event at The Club at Irish Creek outside Charlotte, N.C. For the complete leaderboard, click here.
The debut follows an acclaimed career at Princeton, where Jarmas was the 2013 Ivy League individual champion to become the first Tiger to win that title since 2005. That finish helped Princeton win that year's Ivy League championship and advance to the NCAA regional round.
Jarmas was a three-time All-Ivy League honoree, earning second-team honors as a sophomore and a senior, and twice received GCAA all-region honors.
