September 27, 2014 | Men's Tennis
Friday Recap
Princeton's men's tennis team competed in the second of three days Saturday at two tournaments hosted by Penn and Alabama.
In Philadelphia, Princeton faced players mostly from Penn State in the event's dual-match format, taking one of three doubles matches from Penn State players and the only match against a duo from Penn before splitting six singles matches against Penn State players.
Princeton's four players at the Alabama tournament wrapped doubles play and advanced through the singles brackets. Alex Day and Kial Kaiser won the consolation final in the third doubles flight and Tom Colautti and Josh Yablon dropped their consolation match in the top doubles flight.
In singles play, Yablon advanced to the top flight's final match Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET against Jamie Malik of Rice, while Tom Colautti, Alex Day and Kial Kaiser will have consolation matches Sunday.
