Men's Golf Takes Fifth in Quechee Club Invitational
September 28, 2014 | Men's Golf
The Princeton men's golf team wrapped play Sunday at the Quechee Club Invitational, a Dartmouth-hosted event at the Quechee Club in Vermont.
Princeton took fifth as a team in a field that included Harvard, Penn, Dartmouth, Cornell and Brown from the Ivies as well as Hartford, Connecticut, Temple and Fordham. Harvard won the team title at -2 by eight shots over Hartford, breaking away from the tie those teams were in following Saturday's play.
Individually, Penn's Austin Powell finished at -4 to win medalist honors by two shots in front of Hartford's Paul Pastore and Harvard's Greg Royston. Sophomore Alex Dombrowski led Princeton at +2, tying for 10th overall.
