Princeton Baseball to Add Four for 2015 Season

PRINCETON, N.J. – Robert H.B. Baldwin '42 head coach Scott Bradley has announced the four student-athletes that will join the Princeton University baseball team this season as the squad's Class of 2018.
Nick Brady, RHP, Vienna, Va./James Madison High School
A two-year letterwinner and starter at James Madison, Brady posted a 12-1 overall record with a 0.77 earned run average and 0.79 WHIP. Serving as a captain during his senior season, he garnered first-team all-league accolades. A second-team selection as a junior, he helped JMHS to a 43-5 overall mark and a pair of Liberty Conference titles.
Ben Gross, RHP, Cranbury, N.J./Princeton High School
Serving as a team captain during his senior season, Gross posted a 2.29 earned run average with nine strikeouts in six innings. In 2013, the righthander struck out 53 batters in 51.0 innings en route to a 2.47 ERA. Graduating with honors from PHS, Gross was also an AP Scholar.
Asher Lee-Tyson, IF/OF, Weston, Conn./Weston High School
Named the conference Player of the Year during his senior season, Lee-Tyson hit .413 as a shortstop with 38 hits and 15 stolen bases. Also seeing time on the mound, the righthander posted a 1.81 ERA in 38.2 innings pitched. A four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, Lee-Tyson garnered all-conference and all-state accolades in each of his final two seasons, helping to lead Weston to its first-ever conference championship as a junior. He also lettered in basketball and soccer.
Kevin Thomsen, RHP, Newport Beach, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic High School
A two-year letterwinner, Thomsen was a Trinity League honorable mention honoree. Helping Santa Margarita to a CIS Southern Section DI championship, Thomsen recorded a 2.21 earned run average during his two seasons. A National AP scholar, he was also a National Merit Scholar.
