Jan. 29 TigerCast: Hans Brase (MBB) and Molly Contini (WIH)
January 29, 2015 | General, Men's Basketball, Women's Ice Hockey
As they return from finals break and head into the heart of their league seasons, Hans Brase and Molly Contini join the latest edition of TigerCast.
Brase, a junior forward on the men's basketball team, leads Princeton in rebounds and ranks second in points for a team that has generated some positive momentum at home recently. Among the Tigers' six straight home wins was the Ivy opener against Penn; now Princeton can move two games ahead of reigning champion Harvard in the loss column with a victory Friday night on ESPNU.
Contini leads the women's hockey team in both goals and points, and she will lead the Tigers into a key weekend against both Dartmouth and Harvard coming up at Baker Rink. The Tigers are only two points back in the race for home ice in the ECAC playoffs, and it can make a big move forward with four straight games at Baker Rink. Contini discusses the run of highly ranked opponents Princeton has faced recently, and why it could benefit the team moving forward.
