Men's Golf Set for Fall Season Finale, Hosted by Georgetown
October 18, 2015 | Men's Golf
The fifth tournament of the fall season will be the final one for the Princeton men's golf team, which will head to The Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md., for the Georgetown Hoya Invitational.
The two-round event will take place Monday and Tuesday, with Monday's round beginning for the Tigers, host Georgetown, and Richmond at 11:10 a.m. and one round Tuesday with the first tee times at 8 a.m. This will be Princeton's first trip to the Hoya Invitational since the fall of 2006.
Princeton, Richmond and host Georgetown will be competing against Brown, DePaul, Illinois State, Navy, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's, Temple, Weber State and William & Mary.
The Tigers began their fall season with wins at the Navy Fall Invitational and the Cornell Invitational, then followed that with a fourth-place finish in a challenging field at Northwestern's Windon Memorial and a ninth-place finish last time out at Yale's MacDonald Cup.
Princeton's counting five have included all non-seniors every time, and a different Tiger has led the team in each tournament, with junior Quinn Prchal's win at the Cornell Invitational as the high individual finish.
