Oct. 22 TigerCast: Tyler Lussi & Chad Kanoff
October 22, 2015 | Football, General, Women's Soccer
With crucial Ivy League showdowns for both upcoming in Cambridge this Saturday, women's soccer top scorer Tyler Lussi and starting quarterback Chad Kanoff are both guests on the latest edition of TigerCast.
Lussi, the reigning Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year, is currently tied for third with 39 career goals for Princeton, including 11 this season. She has scored in three straight games and helped the Tigers to a 4-0 start in Ivy League play. The only other 4-0 team in the league is Harvard, and the Crimson will serve as host for Saturday's 1:30 showdown for first place in the league. Lussi reflects on a wild 2014 showdown and talks about both the smooth transition this season and the upcoming matchup.
Kanoff became the first Princeton quarterback to win his first four career starts since 1991, and he will lead the Tigers into Cambridge to take on the 15th-ranked Crimson. Harvard hasn't lost a game since Princeton's last trip to Boston (51-48 in triple-overtime), and it hasn't allowed a touchdown in more than three games. Kanoff talks about building off last weekend's late loss to Brown, his growing comfort in the offense and his thoughts on the Crimson defense.
If you are new to TigerCast, the weekly Thursday podcast will provide an in-depth look at Princeton teams through interviews with coaches and student-athletes.
