Princeton Heads To Drexel To Open Final Week Of Matches In 2015
December 02, 2015 | Women's Squash
The fourth-ranked Princeton women's squash team will begin its final week of competition in 2015 Wednesday night when it heads to Philadelphia to take on 13th-ranked Drexel at 6:30 pm in the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
Princeton, which won its season opener 9-0 at George Washington prior to Thanksgiving, will take on a Drexel team that has already played five matches this season. The Dragons are 4-1, with their lone loss coming 9-0 to third-ranked Penn.
The Tigers started at least two members of each class in the win at George Washington, including the freshman duo of Isabel Hirshberg and Kate Feeley, who won at the No. 8 and No. 9 spots by 3-0 scores. Sophomore Olivia Fiechter, who reached the CSA semifinal last season, rallied at the No. 1 spot after dropping the first two games and posted a 3-2 win.
Following Wednesday's match at Drexel, Princeton will host 12th-ranked Williams Saturday at 3 pm, followed by a 4:30 pm showdown with No. 21 St. Lawrence.
