A night after seeing Harvard escape Jadwin with a three-point victory that dealt Princeton its first Ivy loss of the season, the Tigers needed to bounce back to stay close in the Ivy race. Princeton did just that Saturday night in Jadwin Gym, controlling throughout in a 64-53 win over Dartmouth. The Tigers won despite committing 17 turnovers, though Princeton did get 18 from Dartmouth including 10 steals. Four Tigers finished in double figures, with leading scorer Spencer Weisz putting in a game-high 16 and Ben Hazel continuing his resurgence with 14 points. Pete Miller came within a point of matching his career best with 13 points and Steven Cook, a night after pouring in 21 against Harvard, was in double figures again with 10. |

Ben Hazel's 3-pointer gave Princeton a 13-point lead with five minutes to go, not long after Dartmouth had cut the lead to eight with less than nine minutes to play at 53-45. The Hazel 3 was part of just a 5-0 run, but Dartmouth never came closer than nine points after that basket |
