Dietrick Named to Nancy Lieberman Watch List for Nation's Top Point Guard

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Blake Dietrick of the No. 18 Princeton University women's basketball team has been named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list.
In its 15th year, the award recognizes the top point guard in NCAA Division I women's basketball. Candidates exhibit the floor leadership, play-making and ball-handling skills of Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman.
All 31 players recognized can play their way onto and off the watch list before the field is narrowed to five finalists by mid-March. The Nancy Lieberman Award winner will be announced during the WBCA Award Show in Tampa Fla. at the NCAA Women's Final Four.
In the midst of a stellar senior campaign, Dietrick has served as the catalyst to the 18th-ranked Tigers' attack. Averaging career-highs in points (15.8), assists (5.5) and rebounds (4.9) per game, she has also shot a personal-best 50.4 percent (115-228) from the field and 46.9 percent (46-98) from three.
Helping to lead Princeton to an Ivy League record 19-0 start, Dietrick has been named the conference's Player of the Week five times this season, while garnering CollegeSportsMadness.com Weekly accolades on three occasions.
On Jan. 10, 2015, Dietrick became just the 22nd player in program history to surpass the 1,000-point plateau. With 1,051 points, she is 20th on the Tigers' scoring list and currently sits third all-time in career three-pointers made (193).
Ranked sixth in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (46.9), Dietrick leads the Ivy League in assists per game (5.5) and is third in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.9). Fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (50.4), she is fifth in scoring (15.8 ppg).
