Ashley LaGuardia had the finest game of her young Tiger career as the rookie tossed a two-hit shutout to beat Georgetown 5-0 in Tuesday's doubleheader opener. LaGuardia didn't walk a batter as the Hoyas reached just four batters on the game, two on singles, one on a successful fielder's choice and the last on an error in the seventh. Princeton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second inning when six batters reached base in a seven-batter span with Emily Viggers getting a two-run double and Rachel Rendina driving home a run with a base hit. The Tigers tacked on two more in the seventh on the help of three singles and an error. |

| In the opener, Emily Viggers capped a string of three Tiger hits in the second inning with a one-out double to push across Princeton's first two runs in a 5-0 win. In the nightcap, Georgetown's Sophia Gargicevich-Almeida had a two-out, two-run double to break it open in the fifth, making it 5-2 Hoyas on the way to a 6-2 Georgetown win. |
