Men's Golf Set to Visit Texas A&M, Aggie Invitational
March 30, 2015 | Men's Golf
A week after reaching the other coast, the Princeton men's golf team will head just halfway across the country this week, playing in the Aggie Invitational hosted by Texas A&M at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
Tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. CT/8:30 a.m. ET Saturday and Sunday, with two rounds Saturday and one round Sunday on the par-72, 7,146-yard course.
As with The Goodwin hosted by Stanford last week, the field at Texas A&M will be a strong one. Princeton will contend with Arkansas, Bowling Green, California, Kent State, LSU, Michigan, New Mexico State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Texas-San Antonio. Four of the 13 teams in the field are ranked in the Golfweek top 25 as of March 30, with two in the top 10 -- No. 6 LSU and No. 9 Texas Tech. Eleven of the 13 are in the top 100.
This will be Princeton's first time competing in the Aggie Invitational, which has been played eight times since 2005.
Princeton has played in two tournaments so far this spring with the team's scoring four as freshmen or sophomores each time.
Live scoring via Golfstat will be available here.
