QUEENS, N.Y. – The Princeton University baseball team will take a break from Ivy League play with a mid-week showdown against regional rival St. John's University.
First pitch at Jack Kaiser Stadium is set for 6 p.m. Winning last year's match-up, 2-0, the Tigers are 16-25 all-time against the Red Storm. Wednesday's game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN3.
LAST TIME OUT
• The Tigers opened Gehrig Divisional play with a 1-3 showing against Columbia University over the weekend.
• Securing a 4-3 walk-off win in the series opener, Princeton fell to the Lions in game two, 10-4.
• The Tigers dropped both games of Sunday's twinbill by scores of 4-0 and 9-1.
• Princeton batted .260 over the four games with a .326 on-base percentage.
