Mark Strabo To Miss The Remainder Of The Season Due To Injury
April 16, 2015 | Men's Lacrosse
Mark Strabo entered the 2015 men's lacrosse season after having started every game of his career on defense.
As it turned out, the 2015 season would be radically different than his first two. In fact it would last just one game.
Strabo, a junior defenseman, was injured in the season opener against Manhattan and has not played since. Despite spending more than two months trying to get back, Strabo will be unable to play again in 2015.
As a result, Strabo will be withdrawing from school and returning in the spring semester of 2016 with two years of eligibility remaining.
Strabo and fellow starters Will Reynolds and Jake Froccaro were supposed to be among the cornerstones for Princeton this season. Instead, all three were injured in the opener, and between them, their only appearance since was a very brief one by Froccaro against Maryland. All three withdrew from school and will return for the 2016 season.
Princeton is 7-4 on the season and 3-1 in the Ivy League heading into a home game Friday against Harvard (6, ESPNU).
