PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University baseball team returns to action this weekend with a four-game set at Gehrig Divisional rival University of Pennsylvania.
Splitting last season's four-game series against the Quakers on Clarke Field, the Tigers are 156-102-3 all-time against Penn. First pitch for both doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 18-19 is set for 12 p.m. at Meiklejohn Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT
• The Tigers dropped a 9-1 non-conference showdown against regional rival St. John's on Wednesday.
• Princeton pushed across the game's first run on a Paul Tupper sacrifice fly in the top of the second, but the Red Storm answered with three runs in the bottom of the frame.
• St. John's blew the game open in the bottom of the fourth with six runs on five hits.
• Nick Hernandez finished 2-for-3, while Peter Owens notched the Tigers' only other hit.

• Senior Matt McKinnon sits third in the Ivy in batting average (.376).
• Mitch Montaldo leads the league with eight home runs and is third in RBI with 26.
• Gary Tesch is third in the conference in steals with nine.
• Mike Reitcheck (2.21) and Ronnie Glenn (2.45) rank in the top four in the Ivy in ERA, with Glenn sitting fifth in strikeouts with 34.
