2015-16 Princeton Men's Tennis Schedule
Coming off its first NCAA team tournament appearance since 1998 and its highest season-ending ranking since 1980, the Princeton men's tennis team has announced a 2015-16 schedule that includes up to nine invitational tournaments and 26 regular-season matches.
“Once again, we are looking forward to taking on some of the nation's best teams as we embark on the new season," Princeton head coach Billy Pate said. "Every opponent we play this year is highly competitive and will provide the type of opportunities to maximize our competitive abilities and advance in the postseason. We're excited about the chance to play five Big 10 teams along with the great national events of the Blue Gray and San Diego tournaments."
Princeton ended the season ranked 35th in the nation by the ITA, one of five Ivy League teams in the national top 50.
"The Ivy League is now one of the nation's very best conferences top to bottom and provides great challenges within league play and the ECAC tournament," Pate said. "All in all, I would expect to see 20 or more of the teams on our dual match schedule to be nationally ranked during the year. We will be tested, but our players will grow and have the necessary chances in front of them to actualize our lofty goals.”
The schedule is below.
