Day Two for Men's Tennis at Penn Invitational

Princeton's men's tennis team played its second day at the Penn Invitational Saturday, facing players primarly from Buffalo in the morning and William and Mary in the afternoon.
"I thought we were a bit sharper today and did a better job of making adjustments," Princeton coach Billy Pate said. "Several guys had positive performances today. There is still a lot of work to do in doubles and we'll look forward to getting back at it tomorrow against VCU."
The morning session saw Princeton's players take three of the four doubles matches and six of the eight singles contests, with four of the singles wins coming in straight sets including a win for rookie Jimmy Wasserman in which he gave up just one game.
In the afternoon, Princeton's players split the four doubles matches and won six of eight in singles with five of those wins coming in straight sets.
Sunday's play will begin at 9 a.m. for a single session.
