Princeton had five players in double figures, got all 15 Tigers in the game and shot 60 percent in the second half to roll past Hampton 89-59 Sunday afternoon in Virginia.
The game is the first of a two-game road trip in the Hampton Roads area for the Tigers, who will visit Norfolk State Tuesday night.
Junior Henry Caruso led Princeton with 14 points as one of three starters in double figures along with classmates Spencer Weisz and Steven Cook with 12 apiece, but the Tiger bench outscored Hampton 41-7 with rookie Devin Cannady's 12 points leading the way there.
Sophomore Alec Brennan posted a career best with 10 points, going 4 of 4 from the field.
The Tigers started 3 of 9 from the field but warmed up to hit 14 of 26 the rest of the way and take a 42-34 lead after the break. Halftime did nothing to cool Princeton's hot hands, as the Tigers pushed the lead to 20 on a Noah Bramlage bucket with more than 11 minutes to go and 30 on Mike LeBlanc's 3-pointer in the final minute.
