Draws Through Day 2
The four members of the Princeton women's tennis team at Penn's Cissie Leary Invitational continued singles play Saturday with Catalina Vives and Sara Goodwin each winning two consolation matches.
Vives took two third-set tiebreaks in wins over Ananya Dua from Cornell and Irina Preotescu from St. John's while Goodwin had a third-set tiebreak win over OJ Singh from Penn and was three games away from completing a straight-set win over Taylor Shukow from Penn State when Shukow was forced to retire due to injury.
Princeton's results from Saturday are below. Play will begin Sunday at 9 a.m. with the completion of the singles brackets.
