Senior Kelsey Koelzer competed for the USA Hockey team this summer as a member of the 2016 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team. The team skated in a three-game series against Canada in August in Calgary. Koelzer was one of 22 players chosen for the squad after a three-day training festival held in Lake Placid, in which 95 players took part.
