2017 Schedule
PRINCETON, N.J. – The 2016 Ivy League Baseball Champions have announced their 2017 schedule. The Tigers take on two NCAA Tournament teams and have five home dates at Clarke Field next spring.
The 2017 season gets underway with a four-game set vs. Duke, an NCAA at-large team last season, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park from Mar. 3-5. The Tigers stay in the state of North Carolina as they battle UNC-Greensboro (Mar. 10-12) before heading to Maryland (Mar. 17-19) and Old Dominion (Mar. 21-22). Just like last year, the baseball squad travels to Navy, last year's Patriot League winner, along with an in-state trip to Seton Hall (Mar. 29) to finish up the first month of the season.
Princeton's defense of the Ivy League title starts with four straight home contest vs. Yale (Apr. 1) and Brown (Apr. 2). Following a tilt at Monmouth (Apr. 5), the team's first conference road trip is at Dartmouth (Apr. 8) and Harvard (Apr. 9). A four-game series in Philadelphia against Penn (Apr. 16) precedes a game vs. Rider at Arm & Hammer Park, home of the Trenton Thunder on Apr. 19. Columbia is welcomed to Clarke field (Apr. 22-23) while the Tigers head to St. John's (Apr. 26) to close the non-conference portion of the season. The 2017 regular season comes to an end with a home-and-home series with Cornell (Apr. 28, 30).
