Princeton Opens Play at Lakewood Ranch Clay-Court Event

Katrine Steffensen and Catalina Vives are competing in Florida this weekend for the Princeton women's tennis team at the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic, and each Tiger picked up a consolation win on her first day.
Vives beat 6-0, 6-4 over Costanza Gorches of Clemson in her consolation Round of 16 match, and Steffensen beat South Florida's Haley Grillo 6-0, 6-1 to open her consolation play.
The event is the second-to-last of the fall season for Princeton, which will compete at the LSU Invitational next weekend.
