Roberts Makes Consolation Final in Florida

Davey Roberts won twice Saturday to make the consolation finals at the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic in Sarasota, Fla.
Roberts beat Florida's David Sarkissov and Louisville's Santiago Salazar to set up an 11:30 a.m. match Sunday with North Florida's Sahil Deshmukh in the consolation final.
Princeton also played at the Bulldog Scramble in Georgia Saturday with Payton Holden, Alex Day and Tom Colautti getting wins in three of the team's five singles matches while Princeton split its four doubles contests on the day.
Princeton's results from Saturday are below, and updated draws from the Lakewood event are here. Sunday's play in Georgia will begin at 10 a.m. with one round of doubles followed by one round of singles.
