Tucker & Neatby Claim ECAC Weekly Honors

Princeton senior Cassidy Tucker was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, while freshman goaltender Steph Neatby earned Rookie of the Week as the league announced weekly honors this afternoon.
Tucker led the league in scoring this past weekend with five points on two goals and three assists. She finished with a +3 on-ice rating as Princeton went 2-0. Tucker net two assists in a 4-2 win over Mercyhurst on Saturday and had her first career thee-point game on Saturday. Tucker scored twice in the Tigers' 5-2 win including netting the game-winning goal on a penalty shot and while chipping in one assist as well.
Neatby went 2-0 this weekend with 57 saves. She had a .934 save percentage after stopping 26 shots in a 4-2 win on Saturday and was four away from a career-high on Sunday with 31. After missing not dressing the first 10 games of the season due to an injury, Neatby is 3-1 with a .940 save percentage.
Princeton returns to action on Saturday, Dec. 31 when it hosts Penn State at 3 p.m,, at Hobey Baker Rink.
