Men's Lightweights Complete Perfect Weekend, Retain Fosburgh Cup At G'town

Princeton completed a perfect opening weekend by retaining the Fosburgh Cup against Georgetown Sunday morning. The Tigers won all four races, including the varsity eight showdown, to follow Saturday's victory at Navy.

The Tiger 1V, after defeating Navy by six seconds Saturday, topped Georgetown by nearly 15 seconds Sunday. Princeton moved to 2-0 in a time of 6:00.63, while Navy finished in 6:15.35. The Tiger 2V also posted a strong time, winning in 6:01.06.

Princeton completed the day with wins in the 3V (6:09.20) and the 4V (6:13.99), and the 5V (6:27.23) added a victory over the Hoya 4V as well.

The Tigers will face a tough test next weekend, as they head to Sprints/IRA silver medalist Columbia next Saturday morning in Teaneck, N.J.
