Men's Golf Heads West to Arizona State's Thunderbird Invite

The second tournament of the spring for the Princeton men's golf team will begin Saturday at Arizona State's Karsten Golf Course, home of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational.
Princeton and host Arizona State will battle Cal Poly, California, Hawaii, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, San Diego, San Diego State, Santa Clara, South Dakota State and UC Davis.
The field is a challenging one, with three top-20 teams in the Mar. 28 Golfweek rankings including No. 15 Arizona State, No. 19 California and No. 20 San Diego State. Six more teams in the 13-team field are in Golfweek's top 100.
Play will start at 7:30 a.m. PT (10:30 ET) Saturday with a shotgun start for 36 holes. Sunday's first tee times will also be at 7:30 a.m. PT for 18 holes.
This will be Princeton's first time playing in a tournament at ASU's campus course. The Tigers opened their season Mar. 21-22 at San Diego State's Barona Collegiate Cup, tying for seventh place in the 11-team field.
