Princeton Wins Eight Events in Dominant Performance at TCNJ

RESULTS
EWING, N.J. (4/30/16) - The Princeton women's track & field won eight events at the Lions' Invitational this afternoon and if it were a scored meet would have won it handedly. The Tigers had seven second-place finishes, and sixth third-place finishes in the final meet before the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
Sophomore Kennedy O'Dell and senior Brielle Rowe went 1-2 in the hammer throw. O'Dell came away with the win after throwing to 54.06 (177-4.25) while Rowe had a mark of 52.90 (173-6.75) for second place. The pair continued its success in the discus where Rowe had the top collegiate throw and took second at 46.01 (150-11.50), while O'Dell was third overall at 44.62 (146-4.75). O'Dell then went on to take fourth in the shot put with a throw of 12.82 (42-0.75)
Freshman Nnenna Ibe won the high jump with a clearance of 1.69 (5-6.50), senior while Kerry Krause was fifth at 1.59 (5-2.50). Senior Inka Busck also cleared 1.59 and tied for eighth.
Junior Ariel Becker was third and had the top collegiate throw in the javelin. She speared a 37.93 (124-5.25). Becker was went on to finish fourth in the long jump with a leap of 5.26 (17-3), behind teammate Taylor Morgan who was third with a jump of 5.39 (17-8.25).
Junior Alex Lanzafame won the triple at 11.41 (37-5.25), while classmate Sydney Hausman fifth at 11.00 (36-1).
The Tigers went 1-2-3-4-6 in the 1500 with sophomore Melinda Renuart leading the way with a 4:30.22. Juior Lizzie Bird followed at 4:32.61 before sophomore Delaney Miller in third at 4:33.28 and senior Birdie Hutton at 4:44.07. Taylor Bacon was sixth at 4:47.64.
Another 1-2 finish came in the 100 hurdles by freshman Ellie Randolph and junior Allison Harris. Randolph won with a time of 14.55 with Harris right behind at 14.66. freshman Mikaela Sawyer was seventh at 15.13.
Freshman Carly Bonnet third in the 400 hurdles at 1:03.77, sophomore Mattie Baron 10th at 1:06.76
Sophomore Christina Walter ended up in a tie for second place along with Towson's Jaina McLean with matching times of 12.46. The top time belong two a non-collegiate competitor.
Sophomore Quinn Parker was third in the 400 at 57.92
Another dominant performance came in the 800 as Princeton went 1-2-3-4 and had seven of the first 15 across the line. Freshman Anna Jurew won the 77-man race at 2:12.40 followed by senior Summer Hanson at 2:13.02, freshman Allison Glossinger at 2:15.28 and Senior Michelle Tracy at 2:15.43. Hutton also was in the top-10 taking ninth at 2:19.80.
Bonnet, Baron, sophomore Ashley Reed, Glossinger won the 4x400 relay at 3:58.34., 5.59 ahead of the other nine relays.
Princeton went 1-2-4 in the 5k with senior Kathryn Little crossing the line in first place at 17:14.54. sophomore Melissa Reed followed in second at 17:25.99 and junior Amanda Chang was fourth at 18:02.69
