O'Dell Fourth in the Hammer on Day 2 of ECACs

PRINCETON, N.J. (5/14/16) - Sophomore Kennedy O'Dell was fourth in the hammer throw at 56.81 (186-5) to earn five points for her team. She started with a throw of 53.25 before her 56.81 came on her second throw. She also found 54.55 on attempt five.
Junior Zoe Sims qualified for the finals of 800 after taking sixth in the 800 prelims. She clocked 2:09.62 with splits of 1:02.87 and 1:06.76. Sophomore Ashley Forte just missed qualifying with a 2:11.32.
The 4x800 took third to qualify for the finals at 9:00.57. Senior Summer Hanson started off with a 2:14.78 before passing the baton to freshman Allison Glossinger for a 2:16.21 leg. Junior Elisa Steele ran 2:16.54 on the third leg before senior Emily de La Bruyere closed with a 2:13.05.
The women are in fourth place with 19 points, after eight events scored.
