Princeton Baseball In The Pros - Barnes Secures First AAA Win - 7/15/16

PRINCETON, N.J. – Former Tiger Danny Barnes picked up his first AAA victory last Sunday vs. the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs.
Barnes threw a scoreless eighth inning while his teammates scored twice in the bottom of the frame, leading to a 5-3 win.
The reliever's ERA has dropped under 1.00 (.99) in 45 1/3 innings. He's struck out 49 hitters, has walked just five and has allowed .136 opponent's batting average.

Will Venable – Oklahoma City Dodgers (AAA) – In the Dodgers' first game back from the All-Star break, the veteran had two hits in four at-bats last night.

David Hale '11 – Norfolk Tides (AAA) – Hale picked up his first victory of the season last Sunday. Hale went five innings and allowed two runs as the Tides defeated the Syracuse Chiefs, 5-2.
