Mason Darrow Featured On Aug. 4 Edition Of Ross Tucker Football Podcast

Ross Tucker '01, who built upon an impressive NFL career by becoming one of the most well-known media members in the sport, is among the most well-known offensive linemen in Princeton football history. Mason Darrow, the projected starting center for the 2016 Princeton Tigers, made a name for himself last season when he became the first openly gay active college football player in Division I.

The two shared an insightful, meaningful conversation on the Aug. 4 edition of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast.

Darrow discussed both his decision to come out publicly, which he did Sept. 15, 2015, in this piece on OutSports.com, and how he came out to family, teammates and head coach Bob Surace. They talk about the impact that Darrow hoped his announcement would have on younger people, including some who have already reached out to him for guidance or conversation, and how the last 10+ months have gone since his announcement.

Darrow played in all 10 games as a swing tackle last season, but he was moved to center during the offseason.
